Little Switzerland is situated midway between Johannesburg and Durban on the national highway. It is a comfortable three to three and a half hour trip by car from either city. Situated at an altitude of 1600m above sea level, it is one of the highest resorts in South Africa and enjoys unsurpassed views of the Drakensberg mountains.
